The compositional concept of the proposed block - a pair of staggering wings that were derived from a simply shaped rectangular block - a compositional re-interpretation of educational / sports facility, to create a connection between the characteristic form and design language of educational facility and residential sub-urban environment.

The proposal draws upon cues and ideas built into the character of the street and includes design references to details, proportions, and materiality from the immediate setting, such as building line, brick facade, clay roof tile, pitched & hipped roof form.
